How this website handles inquiries, subscriptions, and community content.
Inquiry forms collect your name, email address, message, and relevant volunteering or partnership details. We use this information to review and respond to your request. Please do not submit medical records, identity documents, or sensitive personal information about children.
Authorized staff can access submissions through a protected dashboard. The intended infrastructure includes Vercel hosting, Neon database services, Brevo email delivery, and UploadThing media storage. These services may process information outside Sierra Leone.
When you donate online, you enter your card details in a secure payment field provided by Stripe, our payment processor. The details go directly to Stripe. CDEO does not receive or store your card details. We keep your name (if you give it), email address, the amount, any project you chose, the payment status, and Stripe’s payment reference, so we can acknowledge your gift and keep accurate records. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and may do so outside Sierra Leone. Card payments are made through the Stripe account of our US partner, Evangelism Discipleship Missions USA, which receives the payment and passes it on to CDEO. Your name, email address and the amount are shared with them for that purpose.
Public photographs and stories must be approved and supported by appropriate consent. Sensitive documentation is restricted to authorized staff.
